Intra Oral Camera
The intraoral Camera is one of many devices that is used in Dr. Barber’s office to assess and diagnose a patient’s oral health. It allows a close-up view of the various structures within a patient’s mouth. The built-in camera allows our hygienists and doctor to examine tooth structures as well as gum and the oral cavity. The photos taken are used as a baseline of the oral health of the patient. These images can be used to educate a patient on their oral health and begin discussions that might help the patient to understand how and hwy a treatment plan is established in order to manage their oral condition. The pictures are then saved to patient’s digital chart to be accessed when needed. These pictures can also be used as additional pieces of information for a patients dental insurance.
